Bar & Restaurant

Lion’s Brassiere is the hotel’s rowing-themed restaurant, frequented by Sir Steven Redgrave who is a family friend. The walls of the bar are covered with rowing pictures new and old, collected over the years from the family’s involvement in the sport. The bar is part of the old house dating back to 1902 but it has a contemporary ambiance making it a great place to relax and enjoy your-self.

A large range of traditional English and French cuisine is offered each evening from Monday to Thursday, along with a weekly specials menu which can be washed down with something from our wide selection of wines, spirits and beers.  We pride ourselves on sourcing local products for our menu always choosing local suppliers where possible.  Our breakfasts are legendary, served daily, with everything you would expect of a first class Traditional English Breakfast.
